On 14th December 2021, the 10th anniversary of E2P2L was celebrated with a symposium gathering its stakeholders, in virtual form due to COVID-19 precautions. The partners from East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST), East China Normal University (ECNU) and Fudan University (FU) based in Shanghai were onsite, while representatives from the CNRS joined the event online. The symposium was opened with introductions and history of E2P2L by R&I China Director Gary ZHAO, and Head of E2P2L Stephane STREIFF. Prof. Da-Hui QU (ECUST) presented a high level lecture on "Dynamic self-assembly for smart materials". Other invited guests included Prof. Peng WU (ECNU) and Prof. Hualong XU (FU). E2P2L scientists presented an overview of their research work in the last 10 years covering "Electrochemistry and perspectives", "Green Chemistry and Catalysis for a Sustainable Future", and "Modeling of Chemical Reactivity, Catalysis and Interfaces". Finally, RSO Director Pascal METIVIER, CNRS Director Philippe ARNAUD gave concluding remarks on the successful model of industrial-academic collaboration at E2P2L.
