Aromatic functionalization

Our small team is dedicated to the development of simple, yet eco-efficient and challenging direct synthetic routes to functionalize aromatic compounds. We target strategies that allow high regioselectivity and avoid the generation of salts.




Our approaches mainly originate from recently described promising technologies, but we also design and investigate original solutions to tackle activation or selectivity issues. We combine both homogeneous catalysis and heterogeneous catalysis approach for our target transformations so as to uncover the best solutions.
