E2P2L: International Joint Lab in China dedicated to Eco-Innovation: An innovative approach to breakthrough innovation for sustainable development.
E2P2 is the first, and still only, international joint lab ever set-up in China between Solvay, the National Center of Scientific Research (CNRS) of France and Chinese and French Universities. Its ambition is to be an international Research & Innovation hub dedicated to Eco-Innovation, at the interface between industry and academia with three main objectives: to invent and demonstrate breakthrough concepts in Eco-Efficient catalysis & Eco-Formulation to deliver Eco-Innovation projects to GBUs or platforms; to support the strong growth of GBUs in Asia; and to carry out high-level research to develop a strong academic network in order to leverage local opportunities.
